I'd really like for someone here (Roofcutter) to explain to me how a person can mysteriously jump above another persons post and repeating basically the same-thing that I said ? Now this is the 5th time I've been bumped down a knotch by an administrator here and I really would like an explanation to how this could happen if the thread was not manually altered ?

Take Azraels Thread I was third up until I checked early this morning before going to bed. I logged back in this afternoon and was checking out the new threads when I noticed that where I once was now sits Roofcutter ?

This may not sound like a big deal to you all but it is to me! I don't take credit for other peoples suggestions, if I don't have the brains to come up with something original, or if another person has already posted the same thing I won't post at all there is no need to make an echo.

Well, it just so happens that I know for a fact that I was third right below Gamepro, because I corrected him and his version of Desert Combat that released on friday Roof, you were not there as of early this morning (You have the logs here look at the log on times) I just would like you to explain to me how this could happen other then you putting yourself there ?

Species, a post is done in chronological order, he who posts first is first. Admins cannot edit someones post and change the order in which people reply. We can lock, edit, delete and move threads and we can edit, and delete replies if we choose to do so. We cannot move things around, not unless we split a post and then of course there would be 2 posts on a subject.

I did post after gamepro. I saw it up then I saw your post. We probably posted at about the same time. edit: ( just went and looked, I posted about 10 minutes before you)

We have no power to move posts about in threads. Only what JD has mentioned.

And another thought would be why???? It is not a race, no money involved.

One thing is for sure Species, even if I could I would not move around posts to meet some hidden agenda, Its either delete cuss words or move to admins lounge. (the whole thread) make things sticky or announcements and lock threads, thats about it.

I have never split a thread, ( have wondered what it would look like)

I do have to say...I did post to a thread, or at least I think I did yesterday, maybe, I wrote it but did not hit submit??? Well anyway I went back later to read what had transpired and my post was not there.
Thinking that was werid I reposted??? sometimes werid stuff happens or at least "I" think it happened.

You'd have to be severely intent on causing minor disruption with a lot of effort. Who in their right mind would take the time to do something like that? I think you're just seeing things man. I'm sure Roof has better things to do than sit around and tweak posts for amusement.

That sort of llama behavior would not be acceptable. And I highly doubt Roof would risk getting in trouble over something as silly as posting first in a thread.

As a moderator I can say that if there is an option to change stuff around like that I have yet to see it. I really don't see any reason why an option like that would be necessary.
