Anyone know when they will be sending e-mail's to those who have been choosen to participate in the beta of this game?

Blizzard goes on a process called "checking if your application is ok". if they find duplicates of the application from the same person and from the same address, they remove that application.
after they have a list of ppl whose applications are OK, blizzard will randomly draw from a list of applications and notify you by email should it ever be chosen. (dang.....too bad i didn't sign up cuz my comp sux anyways)

in this case, if you ever participated in the WC3x Beta test (which I had participated in before) or any other beta tests (not sure tho), it's the same deal.

and blizzard working on Sundays!?!?! come on!

anyhow....this comp sux it can't even run steam w/o lag....the only way to run steam is use my bro's comp....(oops...shouldn't be talking about that here...)

Based on your Internet connection settings (remember the file you have to dl so blizzard can check your internet connection?), you will be able to download the World of Warcraft beta from the main Blizzard site. If you are using 56k, they will mail you a copy of WoW. (lol...if u put in a fake email address and you're using 56k, you're screwed if nobody can dl the file for you).

If you are chosen, they will send you an email stating that you are now in the beta test, and gives you a lil breafing about this test, as well as a WoW Beta CDKey.

and hope whoever signs up in the beta test will be able to participate...while I suffer
