i just dled the adware 6.0 and did a scan everything went well until it got to the part about deleting the files and what not. well instead of being smart and taking the time to look at them i simple just said deleted then clicked the delete. now my steam doesnt work so i have to redl it. man am i an idiot or what...stupid laziness

Just delete the .blob file and redl the updates.

I doubt that adaware deleted anything related to steam...but if it did...you can restore it. If you left all the settings at default in adaware, it backs up all the files before you delete them. I forgot the exact path in the program, but if you go through a restore process it should point to the file it created and allow you to restore any or all of the files you deleted.

i still got the blob file and i deleted all the stuff adaware found and got no problems so i cant help you there
