Steam goes down tomorrow

Steam will be down tomorrow for maintence. This probably will help with the release of dod1.1beta. I expect there to also be a major steam update. This downtime will start at 4:30 pm PST and is scheduled to be 2 hours, but I expect it will take at least a good 6 hours.

hah, now they fixed that, but now its Invalid userid ticket. They should just kill steam, everytime they do anything as far as an update they screw the whole damn system up somehow.

Steam is down right now for scheduled maintenance. The Steam network will be back up by approximately 7:30 am PST. We'll post news here as soon as everything's back up and running.

The Steam scheduled downtime and maintenance has been completed. We have also released a small Steam update. Note that there is currently an issue preventing many of our users from connecting to game servers (User ID Ticket Error 34). A fix will for this problem will be released momentarily.

got a fix for the id problem off the steam forums.

open steam, select settings. Log out. it will popup an error then close it. Now launch it again, enter your password (should ask for it) Should be fixed now.
