My brother opted for the Dell instead af letting me build him one. He regrets it now. For one it comes loaded down with Bloatware, ya know the software you don't want on your PC, but they give you as part of some marketing deal with the manufacturer. Removing some of it from the reg. has proven difficult.
Building a computer or having a friend do it is the best way. You get a smoking system for a good price. The biggest obstacle is the operating system cost. But there are ways to let's say geta good deal on one if ya know what I mean.
Building is easier than you think. Look online for a good step by step guide for beginners. Motherboard manufacturers really make it easy nowadays to configure and optimize your system any way you like. hope this helps.
