|
|
Somehow quite a while ago I got a small icon inside my system tray. It's called "Quick Time" and it comes everytime I boot up then I right click on it and close it. If I open it I get connected to there site.
I can't find it anywhere in my add/remove etc nor does spy/bot pick it up but I want to get rid of it.

Go to the 'Start' menu, select 'Run', type 'MSCONFIG'. The System Config. Utility will open; browse through the 'Startup' menu, uncheck any item running that is associated with the Quicktime file. Once applied, restart your PC. _________________ Don't take life too seriously, no one makes it out alive. |

Right-Click on the Quicktime icon next to your clock and an option menu will open. Somewhere in this menu there is an option to remove this icon from start-up ! |

I had the same problem. I tried that and it didn't work. Going to the start menu and following the steps that N|kamichi gave will take care of it. All quicktime is is another program for video. _________________

QT - the world's slowest piece of software ever.
It's a pity that some files won't work without it... a bit like Real. |
