It looks like steam is going to come out soon. It also looks like all of the wonids are gone. Replaced with new steamids. Looks like players like myself(when I am not at college) won't be able to play the game possibly.

Last thing I remember steam requires broadband. And you will need steam to play TFC or any other half life thing on the net once steam is released.

All steam does is allow you to d/l the games and buy it that way and uses a different server engine than won. So now you won't get Won Authentification problems since they run it now.
