TFC dead at the Ville

I don't have an opinion whether it's dieing or not. I know I don't play it anymore because I prefer the play style of DOD and NS over the play style of TFC.

I pretty much just play DoD now (shovel anyone?). Most of the time when I look at the server status list I notice that the DoD servers are at capacity and the others are empty (I dont think I have seen anyone playing NS for quite some time). I think that turning TV1 into a DoD server killed TFC here, but it also got me to try DoD, and I really like it. Personally I think that there should be another higher capacity (24+) DoD server at the ville.

Just have to let me know where the custom map can be downloaded in advance if you put them in the rotation. And really, it can not hurt, if it is just the regs playing normally anyways

ok i've read the first page of the 3 on here.. as so far everyoneon htere has said i always want to play tfc.. n i always 'check' if anyone's on the server.. but always c it empty so go else wehre..

dam ppl. u may have to mess about n rj everywhere for a few mins.. but as long as ppl c one or two ppl in there they join.. havent u ppl gathered that from readin the pages in this thread.. just be paitent.. thats the key to keepin tfc afloat.. be paitent.. and wait a min or two.. ppl will c others on the server and join.. andthe more they c on there the more they'll join..

it seems obviouse to me..

and tfc will neva die in my eyes.. and gurrg get yo a$$ back to playin at the vill..

i just read the rest.. adn i agree.. wiv the bringin in some custom maps..

dam i enjoy the clasics.. but im gettin sick of them.. and would love some veriety..

say.. a rotation like mulch_trench, vidars2, a clasic like warpath, hunted, avanti

i noticed avanti aint there.. well not on tv3.. which is were i tend to go..

the clasics are fun.. but ppl like some veriety.. now i remember when the servers where full. and if i rememebr ritly.. ppl had to power to start votes.. for maps.. if the server was low on ppl they could choice a map of there own pickin to keep them entertained till ppl arived.. and there was always some custom map inthe rotaion..

i say bring back some custom maps.. introduce some type of voting system.. i.e the old one that used to be on tv4.. where u could start a vote from console.. and add options.. and then spice up the rotations a lil bit..

i konw if that happens i'll play alot more.. and if ppl just wait in the servers n be paitent for a few mins, like i always am, ppl will join.

well thats what everyone has said so far in here..

just be paitent.

i hope some of the points brought up in here will be taken in.. and i hope that somthin can be done to spice it up..

tfc isnt dead.. it maybe injured at present.. but if we all support it.. and help it.. it will pull through.. i just know it will..

well thats my opinion.. plz either spice up the rotations or introduce a map vote.. or even better both...

Mapvote is turned on at TV7, it always is. If it's just regs playing anyways then the fact that it is a password protected server shouldn't matter. Everyone here already knows the password for it. There are custom maps galore there. If you see a map that you can't find there and want it on then send me a PM on what map you want, preferably with a link if possible on where to get it. I can usually get the maps uploaded pretty quick. I will work with anyone that asks me for help.

i`ll just add to the converse like it has already been stated it seems to be that the dod servers are always full or dam close to it especially v1 everything else is dead even the ns which always has a few but not lately .i only started to pay attention because of this thread. tfc had its place just like dod is the now something will come along in the next year and we will all be here saying that dod is dead and that something like the charlies angle mod is in
