I hate Donner as well. I will usually leave when it comes on. However it still stays full.

you can't drop caen, it avalanche, and flash bring the most people in.

Caen is quickly becoming the 2fort of dod (at least to me). Sure it has a good design, and it's fun sometimes - but after playing it for the umpteenth time, it kinda loses some of its appeal.

The Ville isn't exactly hurting for players, so dropping one of the mass-appeal maps probably wouldn't put to big a dent in the player count.

what if (and I'm only saying this in case the admins decided to do it), the welcome message was modified to reflect that a new map was going to be added to the rotation, and where to download it. That way, the people who play regularly could get the map well in advance. Some might say not enough people read the welcome message, but I think if it was something that ran for a week or maybe even just four days, enough would get the message and DL the required file. This would help alleviate some of the boredom people are feeling with these standard maps.

I myself totally suck anyways, so I don't actually do much on any of the maps besides getting shot.

Donner Rox!

Blue and Myself are working on getting some new maps up to tv1 to try some out. We will put something in the MOTD, or MOTM or just do a csay to let you know when we get some new ones on there.

Other than that all the standard DOD maps are on there and if there is an admin present ask them to change the map for you, we would be more than happy to.

I will take all suggestions on maps into account, Because i will admit it is hard for me right now to keep up with what is out there right now. But also remember, we will have to keep a few "Popular" maps on the servers just to continue to draw people in.

We will change the map cycle, as time goes on..
