Video Compact Disc

VCD's didn't really catch on in the U.S.A., but they were real popular in a lot of Asian countries. They use the MPEG-1 video format, and can be played in most DVD players.

I may have to look into that myself. I got a pretty big collection of DVD's and it would be much cheaper to do it this way.

Ahead's Burning Nero is probably the best burning program I have used for creating CDs or VCDs. I'm not sure about any free programs, but www.vcdhelp.com is the best place to get info on all sorts of tutorials and tips. You might go to www.downloads.com and see what they have.
