Well it looks like Nascar has found its replacement for RJR(WINSTON) championship sponsor....on thursday it will be announced that NEXTEL will be the head sponsor of the championship in NASCAR....so to BRN and all the anti Jeff Gordon Fans...after he wins the Winston Cup this year....he will be the first NEXTEL CUP CHAMPION (sounds wierd doesn't)

I know I'm from Mississippi but I have to say Nascar sucks. It's probably fun for the drivers but I just can't watch it. That to me goes for almost all sports(except X games) it's fun to play them but not so fun to watch them.

The Nextel Cup?? It's a shame that Winston had to back out of their sponsorship but it was inevitable. This is probably one of the best ways that Nextel could up their business though. It's amazing how much sponsorship like that can help a business.

P.S. This thread had nothing to do with whether you liked NASCAR or not. I love people like Kason who just feel compelled to add ignorant comments like they do. If you don't like it, that's fine. Try staying on topic #Fist

Yah thanks BRN for setting the thread straight it was just an FYI to all the people at the ville....and yes there are more than you think....who every sunday or most every sunday before a race play DOD and change their names to their favorite driver...it was just easier for me to post a big thread than PM everyone.

Sponsorship can be really important. I know the last battery I bought was an Interstate because it was on Bobby Labonte's hood.
