Can someone tell me what to set to remove the friendly messages reminding me to go prone to reduce recoil, and to not shoot my team mates... it's always nagging me to do something: "i'll deploy my bi-pod if I feel like it, thank you very much"

There is also an option box in the multiplayer/customize/advanced menu to toggle on/off auto help (those annoying little message boxes).

yeah, that makes a little more sense. they did the same thing with tfc_newmodels now that i think of it. but it's good to know the actual cvar as well.
