Zoom in. . .

Pull out your eraser. ..

Start erasing everything around the model. . .

Even in MS Paint, you can select the size of the eraser. It can take a long time but there is really no other way of doing it in MS Paint that I know of. That's what I used to do with my screenies before 'Tulu hooked me up with PSP 6.

Unfortunately, in MS Paint, you do not have a "magic wand" like the more advanced paint programs. Nor do you have the option of placing the model over a see through background. So, you can find the color code for the background on your site and try to match your model background to that color. If you don't know the color code, you can take a screenie of your site, then use your "dropper" to get a sample of that background color. Use that sample to fill in your model background.

There may be other ways of doing it. You are just extremely limited with MS Paint and are forced to find alternate routes!

Hope that helps.

I use HLMV to get that kind of image. I would just use the eraser and get rid of everything around it. About making transparent backgrounds, you can make it a gif image and then go to Image, then attributes nthere will be a place to choose a transparent color. The only image I know of that this works on is gif, so you might not be able to do this.

with a really awful colored backround in hlmv you can just select it with the magic wand even easier, like a blue screen for movies and crap, and not lose quality converting it to gif

Have you tried the magic wand tool or the magic eraser tool? The magic eraser tool deletes areas of about the same color and leaves you with a transparent background.

There is another tool that allows you select the colors that you want to remove.... try that one. Another cool tool is the masking tool.

Both are fun.
