Internet Explorer Problems

I am have been having serious problems with IE for about the past week or so. For some reason theVille keeps freezing up IE. If I open a link it freezes IE. Now it doesn't happen all the time but often enough to piss me off and post here looking for a solution.

This is what I have:
1.8 P4
768 MB RAM
XP Home

Not sure if this is applicable or not or if you need more but there it is.

Now I have tried running a virus scan and came up with nothing. I checked for Windows updates and I am completely current. I have deleted all my cookies and even cleared the history. I'm very frustrated by this and need some advice/help.

that happens to me too sometimes. it doesn't happen often.

Mostly if you wait long enough it will bring you too the link.

i even had this with opening topics. some i could open some not. after a week it went away.

sorry but i don't know what to do.

I had the same kinda thing happen it was a bad stick of memory

Is there a way for me to run a test on my memory?? Without taking everythng apart??

I did it piece by piece. However I knew for certain I had a bad stick of mem.

*Update* With the assistance of Phychotic Episode I think we got it figured out. I haven't had the problem since he helped me. He was down here on some other business and we hooked up to watch the Nascar race this past Sunday. Thanks a bunch for the help sir
