You could BUY a Cd key? Half-Life really isn't that expensive. You could even buy a copy of Blue-Shift (uses the same CD key pattern). I got mine for about 10 bucks on Amazon.com _________________

Just "borrow" the cd and cd key from a friend. If he ever asks for it back, just deny any knowledge about the game. That's what I've been doing for the past 4 years. It works like a charm. |

You could always use your previous CD key. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

A CD key changer certainly works. All it is doing is modifying your registery with a cd key which you have to provide. As far as CD key generators - I have never been shown one that works. However, half-life is so old that you can easily get a key for it from a friend who doesn't play it anymore. _________________ The most hated.

You can always call your friend you borrowed your HL cd and jewel case to. _________________ Yes, I'm still around

I don't understand... what good would a program do that changes your CD key? It's just a value in the system registry... it's not hard to change manually. You could set up logon scripts to automatically change the CD key in you registry whenever you log on. That's what me and Gelly do.
Though that might not work if you don't have an OS meant specifcally for multiple users, like Win2k. Hm... _________________
