i just downloaded new drivers for my 3Dcard. now my question is should i do the same for my motherboard??? i'm not talking about upgrading the BIOS. just the drivers.

Yes those are important for performance. Those seem to be the via 4in1's and your audio driver/updates. Yes I would say. _________________

i was able to install the sound drivers but i aml not able to install the via 4in1 pack. everytime i run setup my comp freezes half way the installation.

well i retried and my comp frooze again. i restarted my comp and it said that windows was updating the changes to the hardware. so i guess it is installed.

You can go into Control Panel and look at your hardware devices... you can view the properties of each device. You will be able to view your driver versions there. _________________
