I'd help you... (I'm a heavy reader. I THINK THE VILLE COULD DO WITH A BOOK REVIEW FORUM WOOT WOOT) But I've only read one book of Clancy's, The Hunt for Red October. I understood most of it, but not all of it.

My point is, if these action thrillers leave you saying, "What? Uh? I don't get it." Then you're not stupid and you're not alone. Don't worry.

If in doubt, watch the movie that was made from the book! The Hunt for Red October was much better in the movie than in the book, for instance. Sean Conery, Alec Balwdin, Sam Neil, a great show.

I'm sorry. I meant to say that IN MY OPPINION, IMHO, that the moive was better than the book. I felt the moive had beter character development than the book.
Again, just my oppinion! No need to make faces at me:

so mean! now i remeber why im going to snipe you relentlessly some day dahk... ;p perhaps...

though i do agree, lol, have yet to find a movie better the book...

i used to read a lot of books, loong while ago, then i found a comptuer and my apparent grammarh has gone to crap, (i dont speak in typos...yet...) i read jurassic park in 3rd grade, and it took me like 2 days... ive always read kidna fast, but i find that if a book is confusign reading it again clears it up ALOT, beacsue you will always find things you missed every time you read the same book, ive read a couple almost as many times as ive seen the matrix (gahh its not my fault, who else has seen that movie way too much?)...

They don't even let you have books in Canada? Just what do you do for fun? Chase American tourists with your deadly sharp sticks?

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

We use frozen pee on a stick to chase American tourists, we also assault them with timbits. Sheesh, you Americans know nothing.
