does anyone know how to change a .mp3 file into a .wav sound file? i want to do this to get some sound onto my site, plz provide detailed steps, thanks in advance.

You would need a utility to do this. I would do a search on the web. But can't you just use the files as they are?

i can't with geocities, it needs to be a .wav file, what shall i search for?

I did a search on google: free mp3 to wav converter. I came up with this. I hope it will help. if not just try other listings from the results for the exact phrase that I showed above.

I used to use something called 'White Tiger'. I don't think its still around though...

I believe I'm currently using something thats just called 'MP32WAV'. I'm not 100% sure though, as I'm not on my computer right now....

I know that you can do it with WinAmp, I don't know if it works too good though.
