In answer to your observation Rebel Rouser:

You would think it would load slower but it doesn't.

In actuality it takes my buddies machines just as long to load things up and they run 2.7 and 3.4 ...

I'm running a dell 8200
1.7mhz intel
512mb RDRAM
128 mb Nvidia GeForce 5200

no overclocking at all. seems to run pretty well.
