In game Names??????

HEy all,

Thought I would start a new thread and the question for today is.....

Was just curious as to how everyone came up with there names for gaming??? Please explain if you want to......and what they mean?

Starting with myself, I have used the name "Kixx" since I started online gaming back when Delta Force 1 came out. It comes from Atlantic Recording Artist "Kix", a band out of the Baltimore/Washington, DC area during the 80's. #Fade in

I can't remember all the times I seen these guys in concerts at the clubs around DC, and even worked for them back in 88' and 89' when I was a lighting tech.

pretty boring really but my Dad was a minister (preacherman) and because of this at school they would call me names and preacherman was one of them.

Why they thought that calling me Preacherman (or even Psalm 23) would hurt me I don't know but that was British schooling 4u - if in doubt put them down and try to ridicule them - lol not that bad really

Thankfully I've got DOD to release all that tension and aggression (just wish I could shoot straight)

StrontiumDog was a mutant bounty hunter in 2000AD...a British sci-fi comic book. Loved the stories as a kid and I guess it has stuck with me....

Nickname passed from 2 older brothers. Both are mature and have families and no longer need online aliases. Dunno how they got it though.

well i think all of you know where i have got my name but if no....ill tell you...my name actually doesnt have anything to do with freddy got fingered the truth i have never seen that movie and when it was popular everyone kept sayin im the backwardsman the backwardsman and so on....and since ive had this game back when i played cs for the first time i had this name...its been with me for like 4 of 5 years...

and thats how i got my name

ive used this name redskin since delta force 1 also .(played on the realmaps server)

i got the knickname cause i work outside all day and i turn red from the sun...lol

plus its a racial slur and i think its funny in the whinney crybaby dont hurt anyones feelings socitey we live in now.

Iono... nothing special.

I was just trying out different raunchy names and I heard one of my friends say "Willie Busserhimen"

Which, of course, if you say it to yourself says... well you figure it out. Its one of those names like "Mike Rautch" or "Amanda Hugginkis"

Willie isnt my real name. But it might as well be as much as i play DoD! If i was playing in game and someone called me my real name or even m stage name for that matter I wouldnt even know they were talking to me.

Well my current name is rather boring story wise. My real first name is George and I work as a full time professional Disck Jockey.

My previous name, Black Hawk, came from two places, the helicopter and also Battle Tech. The Heli is may favorite Heli, and in Battle Tech Black Hawk is the Inner Sphere name for one of my favorite 'mechs

My real name is Byron, my close friends called me B Ron. So it's pronounced Bee-ron, not Beer-on. Though I like the double meaning since I drink alot of beer

lol not really much of a story. Wanted a name that was easy to remember but no one else uses (in games), well as far as I know. Then poof BillieJean came to mind. lol but its funny when people start singing on their mics "BillieJean is not my lover", my reply "I know, I am a guy", A girl typed it once, when she told me after my reply I put my foot in my mouth.

Well it all started when i jumped out of a plane and lost my money, wait im dreaming again. Well just wanted a name that nobody seemed to have and i have read books on D.B.Cooper. When i was into cs i went by the name -}$oLo[-TrUnK$ when i played scarab on the old mplayer i went by either venomwolf or carnagewolf which i kinda miss those names. Damn i miss scarab also that was a fun game. And no frosty u can't have my money
