Hey boots where abouts in south africa where you and oxo from??...I will be there next year working at a couple of orphanges..gorgeous country and people

Hey Ganja

We are from Pretoria, (one of the two capitals, the other capital is Cape Town). Pretoria is next to Johannesburg which more people are familiar with.

Cape Town is a must see! Kruger National Park – you just have to go there and then of course the Lost City, don't miss it.

Yes it is a great place and great people. But when you go there please be safe. Do not go anywhere without the guidance of your group or somebody from SA who is familiar with the area. I hate to admit it but South-Africa is not the safest place to go. So keep yourself safe.

Thank you for doing your good work in my country.

Boots

Hey boots,

Oh yes nice..that is a very pretty area as it all is really...I will be spending most of my time in Kenya. though this is not my last time being there. I am working on a couple of projects, non-profit of course. It is amazing how so many embrace you there, very special people..I think the most dangerous thing for me will be backpacking through Israel...but that is for another time. I am not leaving until next august, after my backpacking trip in the spring. Anyways, maybe you could email me some great must sees..

Kenya is not in South-Africa, it is in Africa, and South-Africa is a country by itself. I have never been to Kenya, so I can't help you there, but if you are going to South-Africa I could defenitly email you some great places to go.

Yes 5 languages that right,

The official Nkosi Sikelel'i Africa have Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Afrikaans and English words all in one song. But since South-Africa have 11 official languages it has been translated into many onther languages. The language used depends on where you sing it.

The eleven official
languages are:

Afrikaans
English
IsiNdebele
IsiXhosa
IsiZulu
Northern Sotho
Sesotho
Setswana
SiSwati
Tshivenda
Xitsonga

Non-official

Fanagalo
Lobedu
Northern Ndebele
Phuthi
Sign Language
Khoe, Nama and San

There you go... StrontiumDog will teach you.

Can't imagine why you would want to talk San You'll have a hard time finding someone to talk to since almost no one speak San anymore. But if you really want to hear what it sounds like you can watch the movie "The Gods must be crazy".
